Through our relationship with Lutheran Church Charities of Addison, St. Paul was able to present the gift of a used car to an extremely needy single mother in the Thornton community. Lutheran Church Charities works with people who have qualified needs to assist them in achieving some of the needs they have in their personal lives. Their efforts are always accomplished with the cooperation of a local congregation of the Missouri Synod. They also insist that all their efforts are a visible extension of the love of Jesus Christ for the needy. St. Paul is privileged to assist Lutheran Church Charities in fulfilling a vital need. Pictured with the car and single mother is Pastor Wahl and Mr. Tim Kurth one of the outreach personnel of Lutheran Church Charities.
